Mike and George - I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your beloved wife and mother, Ann. I was fortunate enough to have met Ann early in life and I could tell the two of would be together as husband and wife. She leaves behind two great men, two already solid human beings, that I am sure have flourished even more because of her influence. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and in my prayers.

Dear Mike and George - i worked with Ann at Episcopal high school in Alexandria Virginia. Ann always had a smile and made us laugh. She had such a warm, reassuring way about her. I am so so sad to hear this news. She will be missed by so many and was such a positive influence on so many . I am thinking of your family during this time.

Sylvia and I are so very sad to hear the news. I'm so glad we got the chance to share a meal at her favorite restaurant. Ann looked so good I was hoping she'd kept beating it. She was also so strong, supportive, and had a great sense of humor (necessary in Vidarland). Let us know if there's anything we can do for you. Syliva and Lex.

Dear Mike and George,
I am so sorry to hear about Ann’s passing. I worked with her as a school nurse in Alexandria. She was a great nurse. I also enjoyed her bubbly spirit, her great insight on life in general, and her confidence that “everything was going to be alright” no matter what the situation was.
May Ann Rest In Peace. ❤️

Dear Mike and George, we really can’t find the right words to express our sadness of learning of Ann’ s passing. You were both so welcoming to us on our arrival in Pensacola. Ann is truly a very kind hearted person, one of the kindest we’ve had the honor and pleasure knowing. Strong, humorous, generous beyond words. May she be at peace. Tammy and John

Dear Mike and George,
Pete and I can’t begin to tell you both how sorry we are for the loss of our wonderful friend Ann. God certainly gained one of the most special people we’ve ever known. I know that when ever we share stories of you and Ann, we won’t cry, but will laugh with the silliest memories, stories, kindnesses and overall generosity of her spirit. She had the best attitude and sense of humor. You all have played a huge part in our life journey starting when our Becca and little George were “sunshines” . Our lives may have sent us in different directions, but we’ve always felt a close connection between our families. Love and virtual hugs are coming your way. Ann will be missed and could never be forgotten. She is truly an Angel now, love Pete and Susan McVety

Mike,

Andy and I are so sorry to hear about Ann’s passing. She was a warm, generous, and caring woman who had a tremendous impact on Andy and I. I am so blessed that our paths crossed when they did. Ann helped me through a very tough tour and I’m forever in her debt and try to pay it forward when given the opportunity. There is one memory of Ann that I hope will make you smile — it was when she still worked in DC but you were in Pensacola (I think) and Andy and I were living in Dahlgren base housing. We told Ann she was welcome with any day or night and one Friday, we come home from work and she’s in our four season room, hanging out with our animals, just relaxing with a glass of wine. A long, wonderful night of friendship, conversation, laughs and drinks were shared that night. We always enjoyed her company no matter what. Ann always let you know she cared deeply about you, George, her family and her friends. Andy and I will never forget the impression Ann left on us.

Hugs to you and George,
Mary and Andy Feinberg

Mike, please know that Dan and I share in your heartbreak. Ann was beautiful inside and out. She always was so incredibly supportive to me during squadron life and beyond. When we all had dinner together in Pensacola Beach, I remember thinking at the end of our evening together, how much I wish we lived closer so that I could see Ann more often. As always with Ann, we talked about real things that there were happening in our lives and she was so encouraging to me. I will miss her. Mike, know that Dan and I are keeping you in our hearts. If there is anything we can ever do to support you, please don't hesitate to reach out. If you find yourself in our neck of the woods, know that we would love to see you and our home is always open to you! Much love, Donna and Dan
