Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We will be using this page to post updates on Ann's journey. Ann, Rick, Emilee, or Lizzy will be posting updates so all can be kept in the loop with all things going on in the coming weeks to months. On September 17th, 2021, Ann went to the doctor's office with lower abdominal pain. She was sent to have a CT scan of her abdomen and pelvis. The results of this scan showed probable lymphoma. After a lymph node biopsy, she was left waiting for a final diagnosis. After a couple of weeks, the biopsy came back as inconclusive. She then went on to have surgery to place a port they would use for chemotherapy and remove an entire lymph node to hopefully have enough tissue to make a definitive diagnosis. After a couple more weeks of waiting, we finally received the news. Ann has Large B-cell Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. This is an agressive form of lymphoma, but treatment has been shown to be effective for others.

Just got back from oncologist I am cancer free!!!  Pet Scan was totally clear which is such good news!!  Thank you all for your prayers and support I would not have made without all  the love and support around me!!!
