Anna’s Story

Site created on January 31, 2020

It’s with a heavy heart but with great peace and hope in our great Creater and Sustainer that we let you all know that Anna has been diagnosed with cancer. We are still in the discovery phase for now but it has been confirmed that there is cancer in her colon and liver. Doctors are also concerned about her pancreas and possibly other areas. They are continuing to do test. She was in extreme pain but pain medication has helped to alleviate that a good bit. She is currently at University Hospital in Augusta.
I will try to keep this updated as much as possible. We would greatly appreciate your prayers!

Sorry it has been so long since updating last. We’ve not gotten many answers as far as prognosis. The Doctor did say at one point that if the cemo works that she is looking at 1-2 years. Since then, this past week, she was told that her blood work looked good and that was a sign that the cemo is working. So, lots of things that are uncertain but there are some things that we do know for sure...God is on His throne and he loves Anna beyond what we can imagine, He knows her prognosis and in Anna’s own words ”...only God knows...however either way , I win cause with out Ths “storm“ I’d still b out there lost .🙏🏽 I thank God for the cancer ,it saved me so I’m alive regardless .. if I live or die -I’m alive!
Praise the Lord!!”
Please continue to pray. She’s still in a good bit of pain from time to time. We are trusting God with this, it’s in his hands!
