Thank you again for putting into words the feelings that so many of us who have "survived" cancer experience. One friend calls himself a cancer "thriver" and he inspired me to look at those fears of the rug being pulled out from under me so I could live my life each day. It's easier some days than others, and that was true before I had cancer. Please think abut doing what your dad suggests and put your journal entries together in a book...no pressure, though.

Anna, I have been thinking about and re-reading your words. You are so eloquent and funny... I wonder if you know how your honest, humorous, and loving reflections are a means of God's grace in our lives. I still wish we could put all of your entries in a book! I am grateful for you and admire you for how you have walked and are still walking this difficult journey. I'm especially grateful for all of the memories you bring to mind. I love you.
