Richard, thank you for sharing this. I think of you and the boys often. This is so hard and I wish I could be there to help. Know you are doing everything you can and it is good enough! Parenting is hard in "normal circumstances" and we often judge ourselves too much as parents. Your boys will be ok and you will be ok too. Sending so much love and praying for peace and some time for you to rest.

Thanks for opening your heart & sharing . It is a lesson for all of us to remember to love & value the little things. My daughter Amy is one of Angela’s friends that now has cancer. Angela’s zest for life & her courageous attitude has helped Amy through her healing journey. Stay strong! You are doing an amazing job.
Blessings!

Richard friend, thank you for sharing so much. You are doing all the right things. Even when they feel wrong. Let’s abolish the cops in our heads, eh? 😘 As in, letting go of judgment of yourself or labeling it as “good” or “bad.”

This is supposed to be hard. For everyone. For you, for River, for Birch. For anyone that’s ever loved Angela. It’s impossible to do anything wrong or bad in a situation that is just impossible.

From one kid grieving my mom on Xmas to you, you are everything. 💖

Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing the reality of what life continues to be like after the loss of precious Angela. I have no doubt that she is with you in all of the daily struggles and victories. Praying that you continue to sense her spirit with you and that you receive comfort and peace in the midst of all that is hard and bittersweet. The boys are blessed to have you and seeing you be real is a gift to them that will enable them to process through their own grief in ways that are necessary and healing . ♥️

Blessings & prayers, Richard, as you and the boys continue to grieve and heal. It's happening at the right time and in the right way ... how you need to. Grief cannot be rushed and shows up in so many different ways and times as you have written. 💕

I thought of you on Christmas Eve and wondered...and then this. Courageous sharing and honesty.....above all, with yourself. You are a lovely, sincere and attuned human being, Richard. Like everyone, I wish I could carry your burden a while and give you some respite. But that's not the way of the world. Still, I'm an ask away, so I hope you'll lean on me and others whenever you feel the need.
