Journal entry by Andy Chapman

Good morning.   Just here.  In my treatment for today.  Have a treatment next Tuesday and then I am taking off the following two weeks to hopefully regain some taste buds for Thanksgiving week.   All week and all the time now my taste buds are flat.. everything tastes like the package or plate it is in/on.   Food textures are way off,  most of the time texture is pasty or thick.   Drinking a coke or fizzy drinks will eat away at the lining of my mouth and oddly allows food flavors through.  Unfortunately,  some of the drugs react to the carbonation and provide a fabulous amount of un-passable gas and therefore some days I am rolling on the floor in gastric pain or fetal in bed cause that feels good.  It has also gotten very freakin cold out.   I have always been a sissy for being cold and that cold makes me angry or sad or feeling like I want to hibernate til May.  This is why i left the mid Atlantic 23 years ago.   I deal......... not....Ideal.....LOL.

Monday November 16 is my 25th Anniversary with Starbucks.  Bittersweet as I received the recognition email the other day with a nice shopping spree online, balanced with the fact that I am on Leave of Absence and won't be in my store with my team to celebrate that day ,  totalllllyyyyy sux....and is totally awesome of my Starbucks for the last AWESOME 25 years of coffee and people and FUN!!!!!!

I miss work and wish to return tomorrow.  It seems as the current treatments go we reassess the progress in the beginning of Dec. and I will then decide what the next months to year look like.  For now I am diving deep into Legos and Vinyl.
