Andrew’s Story

Site created on November 1, 2020

On Halloween, 2020 Andrew was in a bad wreck. He was air lifted to U of L. He has sedated and put on ventilator. He has a shattered hip, broken ribs, facial trauma, and mild brain swelling. He has a long road of recovery ahead. Thoughts, energies, prayers, whatever you believe in would be appreciated.

Journal entry by Samantha Prousa

I know I haven't posted in a while, things have (thankfully) slowed down. Andrew is doing great and getting on with life as normal, he was released last week to get back to driving the semi, and he was thrilled for that! He has a CT scan scheduled for the beginning of March so that his plastic surgeon can start planning the final facial reconstructive surgery! Hoping to have that done sometime in March as well.  We will never be able to thank any of you for all the thoughts, prayers, donations, and love you have given us!
