I am so concerned for all of you front-line care givers. I am hoping the VA has sufficient PPE and vents as some of the daughters of my nurse friends who practice in NY do not. Thinking of you. 

Part 2 of my treatment starts tomorrow with spine MRI, then maybe myelogram, radiation planning, and then 5 days palliative radiation. It really was gut wrenching to have to make this decision in the setting of Coronavirus. I don’t want to bring virus into my home, but BWH has policies in place to prevent  transmission. The staff picks me up at the door,uses masks, and returns me to car. Who would have thought these would be considerations. 

Hope everyone is coping. This to shall pass but not soon enough.
