I've just reread this...
TIME is precious in so many ways. Like you I am taking hold and running forward as fast as I can (in my mind at least) to LIVE my life....drugs have been the answer for me instead of a new heart. Let's see what 2019 brings.
Big love from a fellow heart warrior đź’–
PS so pleased you are doing so well. Xx

Dear Andrea, I read this first the day it came out - and gave you a Heart then. But as I read your words felt so familiar. Then I noticed the date of your surgery, July 22. My surgery was on another 22nd, 2 years before. And I got The Call on the 21st, day before. And man, that was one long night - without a wink of sleep. You have been through a long, long, long journey to this point, to that moment in July 2018. And you have been so gracious about it. I know the first part of it, in the hospital was hard. That's a memory now. You have a wonderful life, that will only get better and better, ahead of you. Sending you so much love - from another grateful heart, Dana

It has been such a great year for all of us; not without some health scares, and we witnessed a miracle. It would have been labeled as such 40 years or more ago. Same person, successful result, so I think it as a miracle.

Your words and commitment are some we should all heed. As for time, now turning 78, I realize that I am not immortal. I've looked for the stamp with my expiration date on it but did not find it. So, I should go on, living life as before; cherishing my loved ones, and trying to be a better person each day. Happy New Year.

My precious child. I, too, am incredibly thankful that I have more time with you. All of your little "Oggisms" pass before me. You are so greatly gifted, and I know you will use those gifts from God to serve and help others as you use the time He has given to you. So many people have been blessed by your friendship, by knowing you and by reading your Facebook page and your blogs here. You can't know how many lives you have touched. But, your Heavenly Father knows. I believe that is one of the reasons you have been granted a continuation of your precious and giving life.

Thank you, dear friend, for your life, your writing, and your inspiration. I don't think I know many people that could do what you did. I am grateful for that stranger. I am grateful for D and all the loved ones that were there with you all along the journey. And I'm so incredibly grateful you have more time. Sending you so much love and best wishes for each of the 365 days ahead.
