Dearest Andrea, I am so happy to learn that you beat Covid - amazing!! So sorry that you are dealing with pneumonia. However, you have been given this time to spend with family and friends. Enjoy every minute!
Please PM me when I can come and see you. In the meantime, I am sending an abundance of love and caring thoughts your way. Love you, my dear locker mate! ♥️
Just two small examples of the effect you’ve had on *my* life.
Until we met, I pronounced every Andrea I ran into as ANN-dree-ah. Since then, it’s been Ahn-DRAY-ah. At some point it dawned on me that your mother was English, hence the long A. It’s been a pleasant conversation starter with Andreas ever since.
And, after we were laid off from MPR, we met up for coffee once on the patio of a Caribou. There, I described being terribly shy, but suddenly finding my voice socially and in interviews. You commented that I had really come out of my shell. That affirmation has stuck with me to this day.
All I can do is echo the love of your friends here and echo my own love for you as the marvelous human being you are. Perhaps you might just emerge from the hell you've been enduring for such a cruelly long time healthy enough to re-enter the life you had to give up. As we age, so do our afflictions, I've found, and medical science affirms this. Regardless, I send strength and love.
Andrea,
So glad to read you successfully conquered Covid! Yes!!! Keep Fighting!!! Sorry to read you contracted another pneumonia but so hoping the antibiotics will keep you alive and a cure for your disease will be found. Thank you for providing updates to those of us rooting, hoping and praying for you.
