Amy’s Story

Site created on June 21, 2021

On June 14th I called my doctor first thing in the morning because I was concerned about changes in some lumps that we've been keeping an eye on for years.  They had an appointment for me that morning.  By the afternoon, I was getting a mammogram and follow up ultrasound.  By Wednesday I had a biopsy where the doctor told me he was suspicious of cancer.  Friday, June 18 the diagnosis was official.  My first surgery will be July 14th.

I’m feeling very relaxed, probably a little drugged up, from my procedure this morning. The port is out!! I’m so grateful. Praying that I will never need one put back in. My life belongs to God. Trusting His authority and love. I’m so very thankful for everyone’s love and support.
