Journal entry by Sam Maniar

Hi everyone. I'm sure you are all running through the emotions--for me, it has largely been denial. For those who are able to make it, here are the funeral arrangements. I hope it helps ease everyone's grief, and I know that it will celebrate the wonderful soul that Amy was.

Friday, May 13, 11:00am - Church of the Resurrection, 6300 E Dublin-Granville Road, New Albany, OH 43054. Celebration of life following mass with lunch provided. (There should be an obituary published on Schoedinger Northeast Chapel tomorrow, May 10.)

Also, Becky Brooks (and a few others) suggested a way to share stories about Amy, so her kids can read them some day. Todd thought this was a wonderful idea and said, "I want the kids to know who their mom was, her fierceness, her playful, loving side, etc." I know there were a few groups who started moving on this, so I am just trying to streamline it and get the word out.

If you have a memory of or story about Amy, please email it to amysmemories22@gmail.com. Feel free to send pictures as well. I am not coordinating this, so I don't have any more details. That being said, I think it will be a wonderful collection for her kids to cherish over the years.

For those who can attend the service, I will see you Friday. Bring the tissues, but be prepared to laugh -- Amy wouldn't want it any other way.

It's not warm when she's away
