Amy’s Story

Site created on June 22, 2018

Two weeks before Amy's 41st birthday she discovered she has invasive ductal carcinoma.   After more testing, she  learned the mass was bigger than expected.  This changed the course of treatment and it was decided chemo needed to happen before surgery.  We trust that Jesus is holding her in his hands and that through this process of chemo and surgery she will be completely healed.  We appreciate all prayers for her healing, energy and strength as well as for her family along this process.  Thank you for loving Amy and her family.   With the outpouring of love and desire to help and keep updated, we have created this site.  We will keep you updated on her journey as best we can.
Many people have asked how they can help with immediate needs.  In the section "ways to help" we have included links to her "Go Fund Me" site as well as "Food Tidings".  Thank you is not an adequate enough word to say what is felt by every prayer and any help that is provided.  You are all appreciated so much.

Newest Update

Journal entry by Liz Biesemeyer

The latest update is not what I expected to be writing.  We learned this week that the cancer has been very progressive.  It has grown in the areas it was in and has also spread to her brain.  She was suffering what we thought were migraines this past week, but it turned out it was the progression of the cancer in her brain.

On Monday she will start 10 days of radiation to the brain and once a week chemo for the next 10 weeks.

We have set up a meal train to help out with Alf and the boys meals for the next several weeks.  If you would like to help out, please see the link below.

Your prayers are greatly appreciated!
