Newest Update

Journal entry by Amy Beardsley

Hello, Friends!!!

I am still clear of cancer!!!!

THANKFUL, HUMBLED, frustrated, too.....
I am so weak and TIRED.

An update is in order because I tire of repeating the following:
I am so very VERY Humbly THANKFUL to be clear.
Many have lost friends/family to cancer, so I keep that in mind, believe me.

However, the "post cancer treatment me" is very, very, very tired, and this is frustrating as I figure out how much I can and cannot do on a daily,  sometimes hourly basis, even this far out from my last treatment (in October 2022).

I continue to have follow up blood checks and CT scans.

My medical team in Cleveland is not surprised that my white blood cell counts remain low (to below normal at times) and have stated that I may never recover them.
I keep learning about all this.....
Follow me: white blood cells are made within ones bones. The pelvic bone is a LARGE area of bone on a person. My pelvic area got radiation and therefore may not recover keeping up with the production of white blood cells~is how I understand it.

I haven't been "me" since last Fall. I continue to wish to start another round of GriefShare.org, however, I haven't been strong enough. God will let me know when to schedule the next sessions, as He always does.

I continue to try to do the next right thing!

Thanks for being part of my village!♡
God bless you all!
Thanks for the prayers and care!
