You are so amazing in so many ways, Amie! I knew you were a wonderful mom, an incredibly supportive co-worker and pretty darn awesome human being, but I didn't know that you're such a powerful writer! I can only say that you pour your heart and energy into helping others and that can add a tremendous weight on top of just trying to stay healthy. You are entitled to be grumpy or cranky or whatever you want to call it. Remember to take care of you. You deserve it and so much more! I hope you take some time off whenever possible and just enjoy life for a little bit. Yes, I know everyone is going crazy right now, but they will need to adapt. You come first.
Oh Amie this was so beautiful. I'm glad the results are good today. I agree with what everyone said. But what you said really resonated with me (at my age). I totally see. I love you and miss you.
I see your name all over Facebook keeping people informed, and in district communications, and as a class instructor. Plus you’re a mom of two school aged boys. You’ve been working your tail off! And now you’re plugged into your treatment (which were all thankful for!💕) and you need to catch a break! But all of those things would make me feel grumpy, too. Not everyone is in the same boat getting treatment; they’re excited for themselves as they should be, but the empathy is too low, their bubble too small. I do think people are drawn to your beautiful self, you look and are strong and wonderful! Always appreciating your check-ins, super excited about your unremarkable results. 😊
You are such a warrior!! All those who know you and love you are sending you hugs and prayers! Others likely turn to you (like so many of us do) because of your sense of strength and calm.
You will be right there in 8 weeks continuing to boldly scare the cancer away. You are strong and a fighter. You are so strong as you battle through this. Love you Amie.
