Amanda’s Story

Site created on May 21, 2021

Family, friends, and loved ones. . . As many of you may have heard, Amanda was the random victim of a shooting while playing kickball on Wednesday evening at a  Philadelphia recreational center. She is in stable condition but suffered severe injuries. We are staying positive but know that Amanda is facing a very long road of treatment and rehabilitation.

Your support--of any amount--would go very far to help Amanda and Ben get through and begin healing from this tragedy. Please consider making a donation through her GoFundMe page (https://gofund.me/41a33ce2) or directly to Ben in the form of a gift card (ACME, Target, food delivery) or Venmo. His email is lyonsbm@gmail.com and Venmo is @Benjamin-Lyons. We sincerely appreciate your help.

We are using this page to keep family and friends updated in one place. As both Ben and Amanda will have a long road to recovery ahead of them. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

***Please note: donations made in this website go to the CaringBridge organization and not to Amanda. If you want your donation to go directly to Amanda please utilize the GoFundMe link or Venmo.
