Journal entry by Patti Myers —
Amanda is going home tomorrow-June 28-from Sharp Rehab! She will continue to attend outpatient rehab Monday-Friday to help her to learn how to cope in the real world again.
She still doesn't have much feeling in her right arm, though she can shrug her shoulder and can feel a bit in her upper arm. she is walking with a large base cane, though, again, not really able to tell if her foot is on the floor, but they have taught her how to cope with that.
She is making good progress, and will continue working on regaining her strength and working towards getting back to work.
Thank you to everyone for the prayers and good wishes; it is greatly appreciated!
