Journal entry by Allison Noack

Dear Family and Friends,

I have finally had time to, once again, read all of the thoughtful messages that were sent while Al was battling cancer. They are beautiful and I am forever grateful.

I also want to give a special thank you to everyone that made a donation to CaringBridge, in Al’s name. This site was so very important to us. It eliminated answering the same difficult questions by concerned and caring individuals. It was a way to keep in touch with those that we did not see on a day-to-day basis. It was also incredibly comforting to know that we were loved and included in the prayers of others. I found that writing the journal entries was a way of keeping connected with the people that are so important in our lives, as well as, extremely therapeutic. So, thank you so very much for supporting the CaringBridge website.

I will be postponing the celebration of Al’s life that was set for July 25. The future is unknown and I do not want people traveling in unsafe conditions. We will celebrate Al, but at a later date.

I will post the new arrangements on CaringBridge and Facebook, as well as in the Wisconsin State Journal and Oregon Observer. Please pass this information on to others that might not be aware of this situation.

Thanks so much.
