Good Saturday evening, Rayalene. It's been a while (too long) since I checked in with you. No excuse except to say Carolyn and I have both had the flu and she has had, still has, bronchitis. Hopefully, we are on the mend. but more importantly, we hope you are improving. Wanted to let you know that we are thinking of you and praying for you and Bill.

Good Monday afternoon, sister Rayalene. I have been out of town for a couple days, got back home late Saturday night and
had full day Sunday. This is the first chance I've had to say hello since my last post. Hopefully, you have had a reasonably good day today. You and brother Bill and family continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.

I had rather be corresponding with you via the E-Messenger because that would mean you are stronger and up to the task of answering the questions. I truly miss our daily visits. I wanted to let you know that you are in Carolyn's and my prayers and will be for as long as it takes. I know you can't email me now but let's look forward to the day when you can "keep me staraight" Hee hee

Always praying for you, in the car, in the shower, just sitting here typing, keep up the good work!!! When you figure this out, please let me know, I only go to post a comment, so I bet your away head of me!! You have an iPhone, well again you are so far ahead of me, I have a dumb phone and I never turn it on only for a minute to make a phone call, then I hit the wrong button and end up hanging up! So, you go girl on both jobs you have going!!! Love & prayers
Revision to Mom’s journal post: Her next appointment is Monday March 5th. She will receive both chemo treatments then. The chemo drugs are Cisplatin and Gemzar. She received only the Gemzar yesterday.
The morning after has been very encouraging. Mom has eaten breakfast, which has not been the norm lately! Mom is using an iPhone now and the keyboard is challenging for anyone who has fingernails. I know she will conquer that along with this bigger obstacle which she has taken the first step to defeat. Please encourage her to stay in the fight on both fronts!!
