I plan on coming and keeping Bard updated as she does not do stuff like this. Said Krissie helps her some.
Al was a good neighbor I remember a couple of things that I will always think of him Many years ago when we had a guy on our street that did repairs to motorcycles that belonged to the gangs then. sometimes a bunch of them would come down to see him and the street would be full. Al was down talking to Paul and I wondering about what we could do and one guy come like a bat out of H--- down the street and Al picked up a block we were working with and through it out in front of him and the guy laid it over on its side. Al stood there and told him this is a family street that is no way to ride down it. All I could think was oh my are we in trouble now but later that day the neighbor came down and told us he was sorry for them acting like that and it would not happen again . Never did.
Then the other time the summer after my husband died the kids and I were putting bark on the yard had 2 units to do and here came Al, this was in 05 so he was not young he told his grandson to come help and those guys really moved the bark It was so nice of him to do. I will miss him stopping the car when I am out front and talking to me. He was a pretty neat guy. Joyce
