Newest Update

Journal entry by Bryan Mazur

I know I suck at this.  I'm not much of a conversationalist, hate "chit-chat" as my mom calls it, and don't see journaling as therapeutic (it's more of a pain-in-the-ass if you ask me).  So that's my reason for no updates, where there is nothing to update.

But I have an update and the great news continues....we heard from the oncologist yesterday that Alma does not need to undergo chemotherapy!  That was an enormous relief for all of us!

So I'm happy to report that there are no further updates to give.  I wish Alma had never had to have gone through this, but she battled and beat it.  The cancer is gone, and she has a long future with the kids, grandkid(s), and all of you.  Thank you for all of the thoughts, prayers, support, and check-ins (to my phone).  Not as appreciative of all the food because Aidan and I ate it all, and combined with me not working out the last few weeks, I'm fatter than ever 😇.

Alma still has a road to recovery, and some remaining procedures over the summer, but the cancer is gone!

Please feel free to reach out to me with texts (214-226-8192), and if you give Alma another week, I think she'll be back in the groove and ready for your calls and texts.

THANK YOU, my friends.   In all seriousness, the support you have provided is overwhelming, and reminds us of what is truly important in our lives.
