Allen’s Story

Allen was life flighted to the Swedish Medical Center in Denver, CO after a fall on July 4th.  He had emergency surgery to release pressure and blood on the brain. They took out half of his skull, repaired it and placed in a bone bank until he is ready to have it placed back in. He has a Diffused Axonal Injury to the brain. He is sedated and on a ventilator to allow the swelling to go down. The next steps are a tracheotomy to make him more comfortable. He will be in ICU for a few more weeks .  He needs everyone’s prayers and positive thoughts during these next few critical weeks.
