Journal entry by Brenda Brown

Day +80 Allen had his four appointments at MDA all went well- .  Hydration and nourishment are improving he has gained 1#!! hydration still needs  improvement - drinking water is boring, but very important to our cellular and kidney function.

Great news ….  He was released to go home today, we can not even begin to express our happiness and joy. The staff was extremely proud of Allen and filled his workout time with accolades.  Allen was strutting like a proud peacock!!
    • Enjoy the pictures- he is very proud of the T-shirt he earned during his hospital stay 12/5/21-1/3/22! He had to walk 90 laps on his floor while during thus time receiving chemo- many other  drugs which caused multiple horrific side effects chemo did slow him down, but Allen continued to fight with all his might he just kept Moving in Motion!  This was no walk in the park, but we pushed thru the difficult times together -He is my SUPER STAR shining brightly! I am very proud of Allen’s  achievements and overcoming every obstacle which came his way, trust me … there were plenty! I have you all to thank for encouraging him thru letters, cards and funny jokes, and even many homemade cards!
    • We made a scrapbook together which will sit on our coffee table- as a constant reminder of the love and kindness provided by you all.
    • We are grateful to be home now - there’s no place like home — WE LOVE Bartonville, Texas!!!!
    • He is getting back to work - I am getting back to work -
    • Full recovery will be about a year, but then he will be as if he never had cancer!
    • Thank you God for answering our prayers !
    •  Thank you RANDI- forever we will be grateful !
    • ( Randi is Allen’s sister and donor)
