Good Morning-
Anders 2nd homecoming has gone far better then his 1st! He was released last Friday and has been enjoying meeting his big sister since. We had a followup appt yesterday which confirmed that all is well with him clinically, developmentally and beyond.

Over the next few months we will be involved in a home monitoring program and several in clinic visits to establish his next steps. If his vitals and o2's continue to hold steady we will have the confidence in his well being to move forward with the rest of his homecoming plans! His overall o2 trends accompanied by additional echocardiograms will map the course if he will need an additional surgery at 5/6 months of age or if his right ventricle of the heart has grown since his last surgery a month ago. If so, only additional maintenance may be needed between now and early adolescent years but no more heart augmenting/anatomical surgeries needed! 

We will keep our fingers crossed that his major medical journey has come to an end for immediate futures and he can begin to catch up on his home/family life. Thank you once again for checking in on him and he looks forward to meeting you all.
