Sad, relieved and heartbroken all at the same time. I will miss you but your spirit lives on in so many ways.

I am heartbroken but also relieved knowing that Alison will no longer suffer. She had such an impact on me in the short time I knew her. Honest, positive, empathetic and one of the funniest people I’ve ever met. She made hiking through Patagonia tolerable. And that’s saying something. What a wonderful human being she was. My deepest condolences to her family and all of those who knew and loved her. As a breast cancer survivor, I will continue to advocate for a cure. 💕
