Today my mom had an appointment with the surgeon. Surgery is scheduled for October 12. As of right now the surgeon says that she will have surgery followed by radiation and an endocrine therapy pill daily for 7-10 years. Chemotherapy will not be decided until the full pathology report comes out five days after surgery and a discussion with the oncologist. Tomorrow she is going to have a physical, bloodwork, ECG, and chest x ray to prepare for surgery.
