The beginning of our journey that changed our life for ever! What started out to be your normal visit with daddy to medexpress to get treated for what we thought was your typical cold (runny nose, and a little cough) turned out to be something so much bigger! They decided to do a chest xray to see if I had pneumonia and afterwards the doctor came back to the room and handed daddy a stack of papers and a cd disc with the xray results on it and he told us to leave there and go straight to the emergency room, don't go anywhere else first just go straight to er and hand them the papers and disc! When we got to the car dad read what it said on the papers and it said they saw a very large mass in her left lung! Once we got to Camden Clarke emergency room they viewed the disc and then did another xray and within 2 hours had us in a ambulance headed to NATIONWIDE CHILDRENS HOSPITAL 2.5 hours away in Columbus, Ohio, the place that would become our home away from home! Once we got to nationwide they did another xray and confirmed what medexpress's findings!
