Alice’s Story

Site created on April 29, 2011

Thanks for visiting our site.  This is a place for all of us to share updates, support and our love for Alice.  If we can collectively give back to Alice even a sliver of the love and support she has given all of us, we know it will give her the strength that she needs to heal.

Our Mom and your friend Alice Davidson was diagnosed with Wegener's disease in 2010.  She has been making great strides in keeping this blood disease in remission.

Unfortunately, maintaining remission requires a suppression of her immune system. As such, she is significantly more susceptible to illness. A little bug for you and me could, as we've recently learned, become life-threatening for her.

All of us have experienced our Mom's love, care and compassion. She has lived by the belief that you should do unto others as you would like them to do to you. Now's our time to do for her.  Our request is for prayers, positive energy and wishes for her ability to take long, slow, relaxing deep breaths and a return to good health.  Hence the name of this site.

Spunky. Independent. Loving. Giving. Caring. Devout. Determined. Mom. Wife. Grandma. Sister. Aunt. Friend.  What are the words that you would use to describe Alice? Whatever your word, we know that she's had an impact. She's not someone you easily forget and for that, we love her all the more.
