Today at 4:20 my daddy passed away.
My daddy was surrounded by his 5 kids and other family members.
The terrible part was watching him transition and watch him take his last breath. It was like someone stabbed a knife in my heart.
All these images of my daddy can flooding into my head...then it felt like he was being ripped away from me.
It would be selfish for me to say I wished he didn’t pass away. He didn’t deserve to suffer...that’s the only part that makes me feel a little better is that he is at peace.
I guess you can say that a whirlwind of emotions take place and you try to soothe yourself with the positive only the positive still breaks my heart.
My daddy, you may not be here but I guarantee that I will never ever forget you! I love you now and always...until we meet again.
