Alexandra’s Story

Site created on February 6, 2020

Presently, I lack a diagnosis and my symptoms are vast and increasing daily.
It's making communication difficult with an already complex situation.
Too complex to fit in this box.

All of my care has ceased with COVID-19.
I am asking my community to assist in providing basic needs and safety until the medical system has the capacity to diagnose me.

Please read the “First Journal Entry” to more fully understand my present experience and who I am.
I recognize there is a lot going on the world. And I need your support. I had very limited resources before the pandemic began,  and now COVID-19 has eroded all of my medical care.

You can also support me through Venmo: @Alexanda-Wolfe-4 or my GoFundMe (click "Way to Help" )  and through these critical roles:

*IT Help (Mac, Evernote, Google): Tech is difficult to manage in my present circumstance, and makes communicating stressful
*Assist in posting/communicating: I am trying to create a "team”, of people who know me and who I trust to aid in this. CaringBridge experience would be helpful.
(Reach out directly via text, call, or FB messenger for to discuss boundaries and needs)
*Following My CaringBridge for additional ways to support me ("Follow" Button in the Right Corner)
*Encouraging, validating,  and loving messages to "Well Wishes" - It's really hard right now
*Video dates, "socially distanced" walks/dog-pettings, rides, groceries, and conversation - based my capacity (Click "Ways to Help">"Planner" OR Click "Way to Help">"Keep in Touch with Alexandra" if you have a more flexible schedule)
********(For in-person, we would need to discuss exposure)*********

I thank you for your kindness, graciousness, and words of empathy and encouragement.
This is extremely difficult for me.

With Love,

Ali

Newest Update

Journal entry by Alexandra Wolfe

Thank you all so much for your donations, kind words, and support. It means the world to me right now.

I hope to post an update in the near future when I have more information. Hopefully, tomorrow or Wednesday.

Things are still difficult. My health and circumstance change daily, sometimes momentarily, and I am thankful to have each of you in my life. Known and unknown “in-person” yet.

Blessings to you all.

(Here are some photos of some short walks I took and a selfie (still learning 😊 and trying to take more photos of joyful things than symptoms 😉  ))
Patients and caregivers love hearing from you; add a comment to show your support.
