Journal entry by Becky Repka —
Several people wanted me to post an update on the arraignment today. I know many people wanted to be there but could not. Here is a short, factual update for those who wanted to know, but could not be there in person. These short notes were taken from the Clerk's Minutes, which is a public document available at the Sutter County Courthouse for 50 cents a page.
I addressed the court.
The People requested increased bail.
The People shared that the defendant's blood alcohol level was .24.
Judge Parker left the bail unchanged, and added some conditions to the defendants release, including suspension of the defendants driving license and to wear a SCRAM device.
The defendant plead not guilty to all charges.**
The next hearing, a pretrial hearing was set for December 11th.
