Meet. They are planning on getting married in October. Marcus is so excited. He said to tell everyone. We took them to the Astoria Country Club for a celebration dinner last Saturday. They had gotten engaged on the 4th I believe.
Hi MJ and Al. glad to hear you two are getting out and about and having some fun visits with family and friends. These a big steps to good health. Brining cheer and happy times is so healthy for both of you. Still in our prayers for continued health and comfort. Glad to made it to Seaside. On another note, good news from Marcus Simantel. He is now engaged to a lovely lady in Seaside. She lost her husband 4 years ago and they met at an exercise class. Their leader thought they should me.
SOOO good to hear from you! And what a joy for Sunshine & Bill to be recipients of your visit! Must stop by one of these WEDS! Let me know when nap time is so I don't disturb any sleeping beauties!! Love to you two, too!!
Pleasant summer days are a great time for muscle-building. Plus, all that harvesting. YUM!
Enjoyed the Seaside family photos on FB.
much love to you all.
Hi Alan & Meredith,
Glad to hear that the treatments are finished and you're able to relax a bit in the garden. Sounds like you will have a bounty soon.
Take good care and get some extra rest.

Every lift of a can (feel free to interpret THAT however you wish!) is a good thing. so keep lifting your cans, BAFP!!
and speaking of words, I recommend a couple of books for your (and other's) inspiration and enjoyment: "Marcel's Letters" by Carolyn Porter...Ms. Porter is a lover of letters/fonts...this is the adventure which started with four letters written in French from which she planned to design a font, but which led her back in time to Europe during WWII. I'm in the midst of it, and can't wait to finish, but will be sad to see these chapters of the story come to an end.
and David Hockney's "Secret Knowledge (New and Expanded Edition): Rediscovering the Lost Techniques of the Old Masters" (2006).
I admired it, but didn't purchase, it at the outlet stores in Seaside. That's OK, the library will let me read their copy. Having finally seen "Tim's Vermeer" at MJ's insistence, I will read the book and then have to see the movie again. Humans remain endlessly fascinating.
Take Your Walks, so you can come back and read some more...
Mmmm. Marion berries. I might have to make a trip next March for some MB pie with a spoonful of Tillamook vanilla bean on top. But no damn cheese! Glad Papa Al is doing all he can for mending purposes and thankful he has a great team around him, of all ages. XO
...have to laugh over the random bold print above. . .not sure how it happened but the phrases are certainly appropriate to highlight, and a laugh is a good GOOD Goooood thing!
