Downloadable audiobooks that play on your phone through an app might help the commutes -- something to look forward to, getting lost in a storyline. :) Glad for the updates and good news! Hugs to all. Xo

every day, more minutes of sun. I am glad for that. Keep on keeping on, Big Al, and good energy to buoy up MJ. Eat your greens.
(and a cookie now and then). thanks for the update and the timeline.

Praise the Lord! Al has his own MerryGold taking him to his appointment each day. Enjoy the ride and watch for the changes each day with the trees and flowers. Our area has such beauty that we usually don't get to drink in daily. Prayers for strength, health and rest for both of you as you continue daily adventure. Take time to smell the roses! We are all here for you both.

I never knew where your Merry Jo came from. Do you mean that Aunt Lu called you that or you already had that nick name? Good old
Aunt Lu.

So thankful Al has you to bless him through these not-so-pleasant days! Praising God for His ever-present ways of opening your eyes to see reasons to REJOICE in each day - for the knowledge & expertise of Drs, the beauty of the Springtime flowers, prayers , presence & love of family, Friends. ...which I'm sending your way just now!!

A welcome update on your journey. I think I mentioned before that my trip to radiation therapy was along a wild New England river. That drive was made the trip and destination more tolerable, but on many days I would spot a giant blue heron, often in the same spot. I hope the flowers and other signs of spring along your route do the same for you. Much love.

so glad that merry jo is there to provide the on the go to get al to and fro. (my auto-correct is having a bit of difficulty accepting all those unlisted words : >)
we continue to pray for strength and energy for the both of you as you make this detour. soooo grateful for our super-enjoyable day together nearly 3 weeks ago.
lots of "side trips" have happened in these parts since then, so it seems a more distant memory than it really is!!
our biggest project right now is the Easter Sunday evening discovery of warm floor tiles in front of the master bath sink, indicating we have a hot water leak somewhere under our slab foundation. experts with machinery of super-sensing leak detection capabilities arrive tomorrow afternoon to attempt an above ground analysis as to where the actual source of the leakage is....not too thrilled with the idea of the future need for jack-hammers inside my house!!
your northern CA cheering squad sends lots of love and a multitude of prayers for strength and patience for the patient and the support team!
