It has been a while since I posted. We had been so busy keeping an eye on his progress—good days and bad days. It was determined that the infection was in the catheter used while tha graft was placed in his right arm. Clarence had a rough time; but with God’s help and your support, he endured the pain. My family and Facebook friends, he never complained. Many times he would say, “whatever it takes.” I always knew Clarence was strong. He over did himself this time. He was in CMC Main from August 16 (and in ICU a few days) to September 3. He entered rehab on September 3 until September 19. Yes, he is at home. To God be the glory for the great things He has done. Thanks to all of you for your e-mails, messages, calls, visits, cards, prayers and every other act of kindness and support. Please continue to pray for his healing. You are loved.

We are proud to say Clarence is now seeing visitors. He is at CMC Rehabilitation next to the hospi-
tap . Unfortunately, he tried to get out of bed to come home and had to have a net placed over his bed to keep him safe. He hasn’t lost his humor—still in good spirits. Continue to pray that his new graft will work for him.

We may be facing the perfect storm, but Jesus offers the perfect peace. Hubby said that today has been a good day. Today he left the hospital and has entered rehab. Tomorrow is a challenge. He begins three hours of therapy and continues his dialysis treatment. He did it before. He can do it again. I cannot thank all of you enough for your prayers.

God is an awesome God. Clarence said today was his best day. Dialysis went well, and he was able to talk with two of his friends (more like brothers) over the cellular phone. They were surprised to hear him talk. He has a long way to go, but he is a tough man. He continues the antiobiotics. Still not sure when he will go to rehab. Thanks again for your prayers.

Today was a busy day for my hubby. He started with dialysis early this morning. He wanted to sit in the chair for a little while--tired of the bed. The therapist came, and he was willing to do a good job. He stood up straight and moved from side to side. He exercised his arms and hands as well. I am so proud of my boo for trying so hard to get moving. He was so tired that he went to sleep. Wouldn't you? Haha. Not finished with the antibiotics. The doctor is pleased with his progress. Again, thanks for your support. God is working it out for Shorty.

Firstly, I thank God for all of you. Secondly, there is good news. Shorty is getting better each day. His mental state is better. He is eating more and doing some physical therapy. He will be released after completing his last round of antibiotics. To God be the glory.
