Wow!  God has certainly moved in my life today.  At 7:30 am I received a call from my case manager (didn't know I had one) at my insurance company.  She let me know that they had approved this $600,000 transplant.  My insurance company NEVER moves that fast. 

A bit later in the morning, I received a call from a church who owns several apartments near MD Anderson and they are working to put me in one of those.  An apartment over an extended stay hotel...that would be great! 

Finally, MD Anderson sent me a schedule for the process.  Here's what I'm looking at...tentative of course...

20 Jan                 Social Services telephone appointment

6 Feb                   COVID testing

8 Feb                   Chest XRAY

                           Lab & 24 Hour Urine Collection


                           Bone Biopsy

9 Feb                   PET/CT

10 Feb                 Labs

                           Nurse Visit

                           Dr Srour Consult


11 Feb                 Pulmonary Function Test


                           Phone Call

12 Feb                Central Venous Catheter Insertion

15-19 Feb           Stem Cell Collection

21 Feb                COVID testing

22 Feb                Labs

                          Dr Srour Consult

23 Feb                Busulfan testing

24 Feb                Day Minus 8 - Admit to Hospital

4 Mar                 Day 0 - Transplant

The next months?  Who knows?
