Shawn, God gives each of us as a gift to one another for a limited period of time, until our work on earth is complete. We are called home to be with Him at that time to wait for all our loved ones to come home when their work is completed on earth. Julie's still working, showing all of you your capability to give strength, love, compassion, hope, etc. to each other and see the stregnth of family and faith. God will carry you through this journey as well as your children as he takes Julie to her final home with Him to wait for all of you. May these few words help you during these days. You were so much fun to work with! Great times at meetings! I remember so vividly the day you announced your cancer to us at Life Scan, I was just taking off from Yakima to fly to Seattle...I cried the whole flight and I called you the minute i landed, and you were strong saying you would beat this bitch!! Your friendship was so appreciated and I remember all the bitch sessions we had, late drinks at meeting, and all the hilarious conversations. I love your humor and sarcasm!

Shawn! Julie was a gem and she loves you guys so much! Julie is as you say, a bright light in a very dark world and she was a brilliant light and was so much the life of the room! Her energy, grit, competitive fire, love and passion made her so tough and enabled her to fight so hard against the bitch and her family! Her posts on caring bridge were so inspiring and showed so much the depth of her spirt and love!
