I had surgery last Thursday. All went well, but i did have to have the full node dissection i was hoping to avoid. The final pathology report was all good news though. All Margins are clear and only two nodes out of the eight removed tested positive, so looks like I’m done with chemo. Yay! And I was able to get my chemo port removed during surgery.
In a month, radiation should start. It will be five days a week for five weeks.
I’m so thankful for all the people in my life lifting me up in thought and prayers and supporting me through this difficult journey. XoOxXO
