Journal entry by Sherri Filler

Hey folks! We are about through day 12 and Aaron is recovering with flying colors. We had a tele visit with the nurse practitioner today and she said the scar is looking good and it sounds like he is healing nicely. As far as the biopsy results, meningiomas are typically 96% benign. They classify tumors in 4 grades. 1 being completely benign and 4 being the most malignant tumors. They classified Aarons as a type 2 due to minor inflitration into the brain. They will be monitoring and scheduling scans more frequently then if it was a grade one. We meet with Dr. Youseff in early May. We are hoping this virus dies down so we can actually meet with him in person. We still have a road ahead of us but the hardest part is hopefully behind us!

Aaron has been getting great rest and eating like a king! He has had more energy in the last few days allowing for him to pick up his instruments, work on a puzzle and even read a chapter of The Alchemist to me while I crocheted in the back yard. Thank you for the donations, food, cards, books and love. Aaron is extremely overwhelmed with love, he is really grateful to have the support group we do! We love you all!
