Oh my goodness, I am just seeing this message. I am heartbroken to hear of Sam's passing. I am so glad that ya'll were with him. It is hard to capture in words the gratitude in our hearts for the gift of knowing Bishop Sam! He touched so many and we are grateful to be part of his tribe. It is comforting to know how well cared for he was, spending his last days peacefully at Selby Hill surrounded by his family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this tender time.

This is truly a void that can never be filled for so many of Sam's friends...a wise,caring, smiling ,positive beacon for us to follow...in life or just to a new place to have a delicious meal.
Ashley, I truly believe that you & Marc extended his life with the move to his farm. Such a serene place of contentment with all of his beloved things surrounding him was maybe a prelude of Heaven for him.Of course, Byron & his family's recent visit & your all's being with him was the best of all!
