Journal entry by Erin Beuschel

Today is the Feast of All Souls.  I want to share that I believe Blessed Solanus Casey has and continues to work spiritual miracles for us.  I could never have thought it possible that me and my family would be the recipient of so much support and so many prayers.  If in heaven we are humbled before God and lifted up in the company of the saints, our family has had a taste of that even the trauma we are experiencing.

Brent received Last Rites including the apostolic pardon shortly before he passed away.  It was exactly 3:00 p.m. when his hands were anointed.  The Chaplet of Divine Mercy was prayed over him only an hour before he was anointed.  This is a grace that has given me so much solace.  The photo below is Brent’s notes from a funeral director’s meeting we went to.  The spiritual strength of the sacraments has been everything to us.  We are going to Mass today for All Souls Day, for the souls of each of the deceased we have cared for at the funeral home in the past year, and most of all for Brent.  Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
