Today was part of a rest week in between treatments.  Just labs.  But the past few days have been rough.  Extreme headaches, nausea and vomiting, bad constipation, pain in his joints.  So I wasn&#39;t surprised that she said he needed another transfusion tomorrow.  His white blood dipped to .60 (norm is 4.5-13.5) and hemoglobin to 6 (norm is 12-14.8)
Platelets are at .29 - we transfuse at .2 sooo we will do more blood in the morning when we get there - to see if he&#39;s swinging up or down and then decide from there.  Last week his platelets were 161 so this was a huge drop.  He probably needed them over the weekend and that&#39;s why he was so sick.  IDK, we will see tomorrow.
With counts being what they are, Dr. Vallance doesn&#39;t think he will be able to start his next phase of treatment on 3/28.  So we will most likely push that start date until April 4.
