Zoey started having shoulder pain in mid-December. We just went to her pediatrician late last week and they found a lump in her neck. We were sent over to Children's Hospital in Anschutz Medical Center, about 10 minutes from our house in Denver, and after a lot of testing, it was found to be a musculoskeletal cancerous tumor. We're at this time waiting for the final diagnosis with the cancer type, its extent, and what her treatment plan will be.
Zoey is hanging in there... Taking it all in stride. Mostly just resting since her shoulder pain is requiring pain medication that makes her pretty tired.
