Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.  Hi friends. Wednesday, Sept 12 around 1 am Zack woke up and tied to go to the bathroom but fell (multiple times before I heard him and it woke me up). He could not walk, talk or even sit up. I immediately called 911 and was so relieved when my friend Tonya (EMT) walked through the front door of my house, along with the fire dept. He was rushed to Saline where they did a video conference with a UAMS neurologist. He told them what to do and they gave him TPA (clot-busting medication) and then rushed him to Baptist where they were waiting on him to do an angiogram.  On the CT at Saline his right carotid artery was 100% blocked and he had another clot on the right side of his brain. When they did the angiogram at Baptist to try and get the clot the one in the brain had dissolved and the one blocking his carotid artery 100% is too risky to try and fix so sit will stay permanently. The left side of his body is pumping blood to his right side so they are giving him pressors to get his blood pressure up to try and pump more blood to that side. He started improving some and then started getting worse and so they rushed him to CT and then back into an emergency angiogram b/c they see spot(s) they think might be more clots. Is in this procedure now and we are waiting.  The outpouring of love for my wonderful man of a husband has been astonishing and we appreciate everyone's love, prayers and support so much. Please keep praying (no new clots or break offs and for him to regain more strength and movement).  -Tiffany
