Hello everyone,
Welcome to my CaringBridge. Please refer to this site for updates and to stay in the loop. I was first diagnosed with cancer (Rhabdomyosarcoma) in April 2017. I then went through two surgeries, eight rounds of chemotherapy and 25 days of proton radiation. After these treatments my scans were clear and I was considered "cancer free" early in 2018. I was then re-diagnosed in June 2018. This time my abdomen filled up with 3.5 L of cancerous fluid and small tumors spread along my abdominal area. Shortly after this the doctors removed the fluid and I began what would be 14 cycles of chemotherapy which I finished January 22, 2019. Since that time I have been recuperating and preparing for surgery on February 28th. My scans throughout chemo have been very reassuring and the cancer has continued to shrink.
