Zach Glaze

Welcome to Zach's  CaringBridge website.  We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. In addition to posting his daily updates here, its also a site that you can send him your well wishes, share great pics and stories, comment on my journal posts and find all his fundraising information under the "ways to help" tab.  
Zach is a 20yr old who has always had a passion for anything with a motor.  He has been an avid biker with a free spirit his entire life. He is the first one to help out a stranger and can light up a room with just his smile. He was in a was in devastating motorcycle accident on July 18th. Zachary is currently still in the ICU with a Traumatic Brain Injury,  multiple facial fractures, broken jaw and fractured right ankle. Currently, he is breathing with the assistance of the ventilator. He has had the first of several surgeries to begin healing his handsome face.  At this time they still have him heavily medicated while he is healing but all of his progress is very promising.  He is slowly beginning to move his left arm and leg and is going to require intensive physical and occupational therapy to regain the use of his right arm and leg once he is able. There is no way to know the full extent of the trials he will have to overcome until his is fully awake that could possible take weeks. Every single day he is defying the odds. We will never underestimate the power of prayer.  #GlazeStrong
