In December of 2018 i noticed a change in the symmetry of my left breast , there was a lump and that felt new so.....January brought about Mamagram, ultrasound, MRI, biopsy all lead to a breast cancer diagnosis Jan 23rd. after a lumpectomy and lymphnode biopsy .it was determined the best course of action in Chemo and then Radiation. God has offered assurance throughout this time , most notably was at the MRI. I had chosen to have Christian music to play in the back ground. The machine is so noisy. I could only hear bang bang bang then quiet and a voice singing “ out of the fire I am a survivor” then back to bang bang bang. This was truly an affirmation form God that He will see me through this. It was a precious moment indeed. A fun event during this time was when Heather helped me put on a temporary tattoo of a zipper and we went to the presurgery appointment .Dr’s response was if only it was that easy.. every one in his office got a big laugh out of it.
