Tuesday August 9th, my doctor called to tell me I have a cancer diagnosis. I have carcinoma, the most common type of breast cancer. This is highly treatable and recovery rate is nearly 100%. So I am optimistic about receiving cancer treatment. On August 29th, I will have a lumpectomy and lymph nodes removed. My surgeon has referred me to a cancer specialist, whom I will see regarding radiation treatments and possibly chemotherapy. Welcome to our CaringBridge website.
