Our friend Yon Hui was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer two weeks ago. She is grateful that she felt the lump and that it is an early stage. She came back from seeing her oncologist today. They have decided on lumpectomy. Now, she is waiting for surgery schedule. Surgery is outpatient and recovery will take about 2 weeks. After the recovery from surgery, they will decide on the next treatment: chemo and/or radiation. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. We are using this Caringbridge to update family and friends in one place. We will also use this to coordinate bringing food for her while she is recovering. Please pray for her and her family for peace and wisdom as they make decisions together. We thank you for your support and encouragement in advance.
