Little Wyatt was born at 31 weeks via emergency c-section. It was discovered on an ultrasound that he had fluid accumulation in his chest cavity around his lungs and heart. After a few procedures, one being fetal surgery, his heart was no longer pumping effectively due to fluid reacumulation and delivery was the best option to get him the help that he really needed. He will need to spend an undetermined amount of time in the NICU until he is well enough to come home with us. Our hope is through this page to keep everyone updated on his progress.
