Scott's Story cannot be written in it's entirety because it isn't finished yet.  With each memory we retrieve he lightens our hearts, makes us groan from a bad joke, inspires us to be more kind to one another, helps us to remember the difference between a Profit and Loss vs. Balance Sheet, reminds us to play with our kids as if we were still 5 years old, cautions us to avoid eating food past its 'best by' date, encourages us to live to serve others and wakens us to the truth that we are loved beyond measure by his Heavenly Father.

Scott was born with a heart valve that didn't work quite right.  Thanks to great parents and physicians Scott benefitted for 31 years from an open heart surgery that saved his life.  No one, including me, can understand why his repaired heart had to fail him the afternoon of May 23rd, 2016.  He had just pedaled his bicycle up a big hill, run up the stairs of the home of some friends to pick up his two darling daughters and turned to head home.  His passing into eternity was swift and painless.  He was not alone.

During his 49 years Scott made such an impact on his friends, colleagues and of course his family.  Tell us your stories about Scott so we can tell his children.

Thank you for your love and support,

Jen
